Developing a plan through partnership

In May, 2020 (in consultation with more than 350 individuals, 300 businesses and all three levels of government) we launched the Reimagining Recovery Framework. It maps a route forward for our economy and the businesses that power it, by outlining six specialized recovery work tracks. Two address the pandemic’s impact on our physical workspaces. Two others focus on the pandemic’s impact to the Innovation Corridor.

Early successes

Along with generous funding from the Government of Canada’s Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, the Board is building on the Framework’s ongoing successes. Continued implementation promises the safe and successful reopening, continued operation, and recovery of business districts.
