Uncertainty and Opportunity: Helping Canadian Businesses Navigate a Post-COVID-19 World
Sep 24, 2020
We don’t know what the world’s economic recovery will look like from COVID-19. Factors such as virus containment and the systemic effects of economic shutdowns have already changed our social behaviours and will have a lasting impact on Canadian small and medium sized businesses. Ultimately, our values, consumer behaviour and the way we trade internationally will all be affected.
In the face of this uncertainty, what can small and medium sized businesses be doing to ensure their survival in the global economy? How can they emerge from the COVID-19 crisis to leverage new opportunities? To help answer these questions, Pierre Cléroux, Vice President, Research and Chief Economist for the Business Development Bank of Canada will share his insights. He will also take questions from the business community and share his advice with SMEs so they can not only survive, but thrive, in a post-COVID-19 world.
When: Thursday, September 24 @ 11:30 a.m.
Pierre Cléroux, Vice President, Research and Chief Economist, BDC
