Young Professionals Network – Building Diverse and Inclusive Workplaces
Oct 19, 2020
COVID-19 has exposed long-standing systemic health and social inequities, which have put racialized groups at increased risk. Add to this the perpetual social injustice and violence plaguing the BIPOC community. Both pandemics, undoubtedly, will result in a wave of mental health issues adversely impacting these very communities. Now is the time to break down barriers to health care and mental health resources.
The most inclusive companies achieve the most success, and Young Professionals can play an essential role as allies in building workplace cultures that are diverse and inclusive. To talk about how you build diversity, inclusion and mental health support into a workplace culture, we’re joined by PwC Canada’s Chief Inclusion Officer, Mona Ghiami and Derek Quashie, Immigration Law Partner and Exec Sponsor of PwC’s Black Professionals Inclusion Network for a discussion moderated by Penny Partridge, National Practice Leader, Immigration Services and former Chief People Officer of PwC Canada.
When: Monday, October19 @ 2pm.
- Mona Ghiami, Chief Inclusion Officer, PWC Canada
- Derek Quashie, Immigration Law Partner, PWC Canada; Exec Sponsor of PwC’s Black Professionals Inclusion Network
- Moderated by Penny Partridge, National Practice Leader, Immigration Services, and former Chief People Officer, PwC Canada.
